    • Will I receive a certificate for my Yellow Fever vaccination?

      Absolutely. The Yellow Fever International Certificate is provided on the day of vaccination and is recognised worldwide. It’s a mandatory requirement for entry into many West African countries.

    • Where is your travel vaccination clinic located?

      We’re based in Leeds and serve travellers from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, and across West Yorkshire. Appointments can be booked online or in person. Walk-ins welcome.

    • Do I need malaria tablets for West Africa?

      Yes. Malaria is present throughout West Africa. During your consultation, we’ll assess your needs and recommend suitable antimalarial tablets, such as Malarone or Doxycycline.

    • Are travel vaccines available on the NHS?

      Some vaccines, like Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and DTP, may be available on the NHS. However, many travel vaccinations, including Yellow Fever, Rabies, and Cholera, are only available privately.

    • Can I book vaccines as a bundle for West Africa travel?

      Yes. Our West Africa Vaccine Bundle includes the most relevant vaccinations at a discounted rate, saving you money compared to booking each one separately.

    • How far in advance should I book my travel vaccinations?

      Ideally, book your vaccines at least 4–6 weeks before travel to ensure complete protection. However, we also offer last-minute travel appointments, including same-day Yellow Fever vaccinations.

    • Is the Yellow Fever vaccine mandatory for entry into West African countries?

      Yes. Countries like Nigeria and Ghana require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination for entry. You’ll receive an official Yellow Fever certificate immediately after vaccination, which is valid for life.

    • What vaccines do I need for travel to West Africa?

      For most travellers to West Africa, we recommend vaccines for Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus & Polio), and Cholera. Depending on your trip length and activities, Rabies and Hepatitis B may also be advised.
